Taking a gander at Mediabase, looks like WSSX has gone in a much more rhythmic direction in the new year. Alot of the pop and rock flavored records by artists like Daughtry and Boys Like Girls are now off the station, and the more rhythmic-flavored tunes have shot up in spins in the last week. Now spinning the power over 100x a week (which is higher than B92)

Just thought I'd point it out on here, I know there have been times in the past when they were nearly Hot AC, so it represents quite the shift.

Interesting, but not shocking. With the introduction of 98.9 as a Hot AC and SX struggling to seperate from B92 - it only made sense to try something. I'll be curious to see the list come March. Is this just a test or a shakedown for the Spring run. Once again it may come down to another "Buy-a-book" promotion season.

Well, as long as it doesn't affect sister station WWWZ, they'll be alright. I think WSSX made the right decision to lean Rhythmic.

Im shocked B92 didn't lean Rhythmic to take on both Citadel stations Z-93(Urban) and 95SX(Pop).
