96.1 in the seaway valley flips on monday

Right now they are running a l0op saying they are mixing things up and that "your new favourite radio station is coming to 96.1". ¿Any one have any inside info?

Well, it's Monday, 5PM Eastern. Can someone up there please tell me if anything happened? Mimo? You reading this?

I don't think there will be any drastic format change up there. I think it will be some form of AC. Maybe WVNF will go Hot AC, but probably not, because it will tread on "Yes" WYSX, a cash cow for them. My guess is rhythmic AC.

I live just outside of downtown Ottawa Ontario, basicly right under the transmitter for locals 95.7, 97.9 and 98.5 which block out a go0d portion of the dial. I have a cc radio plus that can get 96.1 if I stand in the right spot, but the signal comes in if you're in the fringes of the city, I couldn't hear it during the flip, and tonight I'm getting another 96.1 from the Ottawa Valley, about an hour and a half away, called myfm that only runs 1600 or so watts, first time I've logged it here in this part of the city. So I still can't hear it to find if there is any difference. I only caught the lo0p recording since I was in the west end of the city. I may try it again in a couple of hours, there might be a signal in my neighbourho0d then from WVLF. Right now, it's not there at all.
