96.1 Kiss FM Ft. Collins- Rascal Flatts ?

Speaking of this station anyone notice what is # 4 on their playlist?

"What Hurts the Most" by Rascal Flatts

love the song but CHR? Is any other CHR's spinnin it?

Alot of Rascal Flatts could have gone CHR/pop I think....like
"Bless the Broken Road" (went AC, many 18-25 liked also)
"Feels Like Today" (went AC. many 18-25 liked also)
"Fast Cars and Freedom" (maybe alittle more country, but heard on AC stations)
"These Days" (went AC, many 18-25 liked also)
"I Melt" (went AC, many 18-25 liked also)

BTW I am male in that range I know, 22, so I know girls that age love Rascal Flatts and they could be a major country/AC/CHR crossover....heck I took 2 to a their concert and they hate country, but love CHR/pop......their fav station....Zone @ 1061, Norfolk (when the concert happened Zone was not around. they liked CHR/RHY Z104 and Modern AC 94.9 The Point then)

I think its good that they're playing it. I know of some CHRs that just flat out play country in with the rest of the music. Mostly in Arkansas and Tennessee.

Here in the greater NYC area, there are many ACs (including NYC's own "Lite FM") which will not play any country crossover unless it's a really big AC hit and/or by a well-known superstars like Faith Hill or Keith Urban. Thus, AC crossovers by less-well-known artists & groups are pretty much ignored, such as Jessica Andrews, Steve Holy, Jo Dee Messina, Nickel Creek, Alison Krauss, and now Rascal Flatts. They also didn't play Kenny Rogers' "Buy Me a Rose" but they did play Luther Vandross' version of it.<P ID="signature">______________
It's a common mistake to not use punctuation in its proper form.
