Is it me, or did they slow down their songs a bit?

You know as I was flipping the dial yesterday, I noticed the songs slowed down on kiss a bit as well. They are probably doing that because in the B 94 sweepers, they keep saying are you fed up with the sped up?

I haven't noticed any change recently. It's still the same annoying Alvin & the Chipmunks Kiss.

I was part of the Arbitron ratings last week and gave all of my ratings to B94. Good bye sped up!...

They must have been messing around with the pitch that night because when I woke up the next morning, I noticed that it was the same. That night I heard a song on Kiss and I felt like I was high because it was going so slow, so I matched it up with the same song on my computer and noticed that it was at the same speed....Now it's back to around 3%

Your right. I listened again last night on Kiss and they are speeding them up again.

I like em' sped up...liked em' sped up in the 70's...liked em' sped up in the 80's...its called creating energy whether its there or not(slow songs)...Z100 beens doing it since they signed on...they must be really stupid...

I was listening live online to Z100 all day Sunday. It's the first time I ever listened to the station. Sounded great and similar to B94. I didn't notice it sped up in the same way at 96.1 Kiss.

Z100 has not been sped up in a few years.... They used to, but not anymore.

I have mixed feelings about it. Its not a good thing to do to the artist because that is not how they wanted their music to be played.

When listening between B and KISS I find myself saying "ugh I wish B94 did speed up their songs so that we could move on from hearing Stronger a g a i n." And some songs do sound better a bit faster, but overall I would say its a negative feature.
