96.1 Playlist on 11-2-2021

Since I can never correctly remember 96 1 CALLS, I have to write 96.1 - lol.

So, " relaxing favorites " was what I needed after work while chillin with my son

These are estimates, so don't be that guy,
4 - 7 pm... music selection that fits the format. ..

7- ? as I turned it off around 8:15, ( congrats to the Braves ) it was the same Playlist, as if it was in encore mode or how TV will play the 8p movie and the same 11p movie for the west coast. ...... or lazy programming.
note: Deliah starts at 7pm; whtt can program a Playlist around his breaks, so it's rocket league.... err, rocket science.

The only reason I noticed would be Man in the mirror was needed for me to hear around dinner time. paused my ps4 game, and just took a moment. Later my wife was singing Steve perry, Sarah . . heard man in the mirror she thought they just played MJ.
WAIT they just played this song ......
then the opening to STEVE PERRY :
shoulda...... been gone, or whatever he says

maybe 96.1 does this every day, and I just observed it last night. something to do with deliah and her requirements of a specific play list ? well advertisers, you're getting your money worth tonight - im listening again dieing the same time frame.....

If what you're saying is that they repeated the same song that just played on the Delilah program you can blame it on lazy programming. I'm a the engineer for a station that carries Delilah (which by the way is not done live via satellite on some of the feeds but is actually 'pushed' from their FTP site to the station automation several days before it airs). All stations have access to the music logs to ensure that repeats don't happen. All they have to do is compare the logs which typically takes a grand total of 3-5 minutes. 96.1 is far from alone in stations that allow this to happen but this serves as a perfect metaphor to what plagues the radio industry today.

Yes, Check it today.
Same order too.....

Might be the old thinking of
the " same ten songs " because the station really wants you to remember the commercials.... and / or sit thru them,
and then you're ready to hear that song that you wanted to hear and will complain about
