96.5 TIC Billy Bush Billboard In Norwalk?

Facing southbound traffic on I-95 in Norwalk between exits 15-14, is a billboard for 96.5 TIC/Billy Bush. With all of the layoffs in radio these days, what on earth is CBS radio thinking spending $$ on this one? I-95 in Norwalk is prime BB space, and TIC FM does not come in down there....

There's one here in Branford, and reception is pretty poor here also.

WCCC Fm listen on your blackberry ;D

Why don't they just erect billboards for this show that just speak the truth:

Ryan Seacrest Clone
WEEKNIGHTS
96.5 TIC FM

BB (which is the size of his brain) and Ryan Seacrust are the 2 most over hyped hosts in the media.
Ryan Seacrest makes Rick Dees sound funny. Someone in the corporate hierarchy decided these 2 guys are
going to conquer the airwaves. Pure genius.

WTIC in Norwalk...if CBS doesnt own that billboard, the person who purchased space for CBS should have a foot in his rear and fired.

What was it replaced by - let me guess, a billboard for Seacrest on Kiss 95.7, right?

Would a Clear Channel station buy billboard space from CBS? I would say no. Also I don't think Clear Channel owns any billboards in CT.

If they don't own billboards, they would definitely buy space from CBS. Even if they did, if CBS had a board that fit the coverage strategy, CC would absolutely buy it. Happens all the time.

I'd be surprised to see CC pay for much outside advertising these days, though.

Well, it's been a year and a half... Anyone know if the billboard is still up?

Its been gone for awhile now

I have to say they will fill the shoes of the legend Casey Kasem. or Dick Clark or for that matter .As Seacrest Did. In the 70's I did not remember any overkill on Casey Kasem.Btw alittle off topic .It's nice to see TIC is running the old Casey's 80's AT40's at 6am sundays,But how come they only run 3 hour version instead of the complete 4 hour run.It will only delay the Acoustic Sunday show one hour.
