With a lineup like that I doubt CC has to worry about any of its AM talkers. Sounds like WBOB all over again with zero ratings.

You really can't be serious, are you? I mean, you do understand that my real name isn't Flavin, right? Do you understand the mystic of the use of anomynity on this board? I pretty much figured out that your name wasn't HereinCincy when I first saw it.(Although I did know a Heron Cincay once but he worked in Cambodia at a straw factory)
So, to answer your question. No, I won't tell my sources and I really don't care if you take me seriously.

I wasn't questioning your secret identity on this board...nor do I care who you are. The facts are: You claim FM talk. You may be right, or you may be full of BS... but until you provide sources, or until a credible story surfaces, you've done nothing but waste space on this board.

I actually think Glenn is pretty good.. a nice change from sean hannity's voice... but I like Sean too.
 
If they do FM talk, they may as well do it right with Opie and Anthony mornings, a local guy in the afternoons, maybe Lykis and Loveline at night. Personally, I think FM talk is a little past it's prime outside of the morning drive. There's not enough established "hot talk" talent out there these days, but if they do it, so be it.

Personally, I don't see 96.5 going to FM talk. It doesn't fit in with the mission of Cumulus' cluster in Cincinnati. Then again, I've seen stranger things happen.
 
Actually, I liked home boy Tony Snow, before he got dragged off to D.C. Brian and the Judge are pretty good, I listen to them on XM.

I just listened to 96.5 again tonight, no format change. I want jazz badly, but I know that won't happen. I'm not as anxious as most posters on the subject.

My small business would even sponsor a jazz format, but no one cares. I can't do it alone.
 
You might want to share that information with the signed contracts for the aforementioned shows.

Not sure about the date but Flavin is correct from all the buzz we hear. Plus there may be some freaky exchanges possible too.

The deals ain't done in the 'nati if the rumours all are true.
 
Flavin, if you have some connections there, and if it truly IS going to be FM Talk, can you let them know that one lowly radio listener working in the nether regions of radio would KILL to hear Imus from 6-10am?

WPFB's morning board op should be fired...and then fired ON.
 
it is FM talk...and no, my name really isn't Stopthemadness, although I have been thinking of legally changing it! I can be the source if it helps!
 
I hope its not really FM talk. I will not be tunning in if its that. I think talk radio should be on AM only not FM. FM is ment for music not talk radio. I dont think is will do well if it does become FM talk.
 
The "A" tier of talkers are already "spoken for" on WKRC. AA on WSAI gets no ratings......Who's left? Imus is a marginal property, Liddy never made it on 55, Boortz, O'Reilly, maybe Bruce Williams? I like these guys, but they're not Limbaugh, Hannity, et. al.

It's going to be interesting, regardless of what happens.
