96.7 Lite FM has gone all Christmas

Not sure if anyone has tuned in, but 96.7 Lite FM has gone all Christmas. So one Atlanta area station is now playing Christmas music. I think they need to get a stonger signal though so they can compete with B98.5. Also who will be next to flip to all Christmas THe Fish or B can't wait to see.

That's a great idea. Too bad they can't use 94.9, but 94.9 has no history of AC on that frequency.

Is there enough country Christmas music for Bull to go all Christmas?

Apparently, in the year since this station has been living in the middle of nowhere (for all intensive purposes), they have added a VT'ed DJ (just one) and Paul Harvey according to their website.

I don't think they will be back at 94.9 anytime soon, but maybe they will get rid of Viva and put Lite on 105.7 (with a simulcast on 96.7).

That Would be a really Good Idea!! I can get a little bit of 96.7 up here in North Atlanta in some spots its very clear signal! so,Yeah and B98.5 will be going christmas on Thanksgiving Day or after Thanksgiving Day?

Please explain to me the excitement when a station desides to play all Christmas music. Is it some sorta contest to see who plays it first? It's the same thing every year at this time on the boards. What's the big deal? I personally like the old standards when it comes to Christmas music but I think playing it before Thanksgiving is way too soon. If you like Christmas music so much just put it on your mp3 player and listen all year long.

Whomever starts playing Christmas music first traditionally wins in a ratings battle. Not always, but very often the first station to get to it in November gets a huge boost. You would be surprised how many people count down the days every year until they can start listening to Christmas music.

Lots of people stand outside Wal-mart at 3am the day after Thanksgiving.
