96.7 Oldies?

Hey, since ClearChannel has brought Oldies back to a few markets, how about Oldies on 96.7? The signal covers Greenville pretty well and it's perfect for the format....You KNOW it'd do better than Buzzard. Any opinions?
 
I think that would make good sense personally. The Buzzard's billing quite frankly stinks. Oldies was billing almost a million dollars more a year than 96.7 is, according to my handy-dandy radio yearbook. Surely there's a better marked for the Oldies demo than for the Buzzard, who splits it's demo with at leat three or four other stations.
 
Yeah, that's a pretty good idea. I had forgotten all about "The Buzzard." But they don't have a very strong signal do they?

It would be easier & cheaper for CC to transition to "The Buzz" when & if Entercom blows up 93.3

They did, but it's all vt'd. To really do the format properly you need a full staff and a lot of marketing $$$.

96-7 is a "spoiler" station. It's there to get in the way of the others. That's all.<P ID="signature">______________
