96.9 The Eagle M&B Dropouts

I realize The Eagle is probably getting the Mark & Brian morning show via satellite. The daily dropouts are annoying. How about someone peak the satellite dish, or at least reboot the satellite receiver? ::)

M&B are better than ever. I LMAO! I especially liked the Scary Scary this morning. :eek:
 
I remember when Mark and Brian first started being carried by the Eagle. I was mad about the replacement of local talent with a syndicated show and was sure they would fail since I didn't think they could relate locally. Gotta say they are the my favorite morning show and are a couple of the most talented folks in radio
 
I sometimes wish for more music in the morning but realize that Mark & Brian have a following. I remember when KXOA-Arrow 93.7 advertised in early 2001 as "We're The Classic Rocker Not The Classic Talker", in reference to Eagle's carrying Mark & Brian. Of course, KXOA failed miserably and swithed a few months later to "FM Hot Talk" with Howard Stern. I live in Stockton, where I can liisten to either Mark & Brian or Bob & Tom on Modesto's Classic Rock Station, KHKK-104.1 The Hawk. I remember the big stink in the Modesto area when then AOR station, KHOP-Rock 95.1 dropped Mark & Brian in favor of Bob & Tom in 1998. In 2000, when KHOP changed formats, Bob & Tom moved over to Classic Rock The Hawk. It must be a succes as Bob & Tom have been in Modesto for almost 12 years while Mark & Brian lasted for only 4 years.
 
I noticed M&B was dropping out again this morning.

At least M&B -and- Cat make me LMAO...

Yes! I remember that. It sucks that CBS dropped the Ace Man. They also dropped other great talent on KLSX when they flipped. At least we get to see Adam live next month in Sacto. I'll be there. I'll be the one with the beautiful blonde. ;-)

Dropped again this morning at 0647. Yes. I looked at my watch when it happened. As an engineering professional, I know this can be fixed. With today's satellites, and 2 degree spacing, it may only require the dish be moved 1/4", etc. :(

No. I don't have any contacts on The Eagle. Their midday guy was a facebook friend, until he unfriended me because of my politics. :p

I'm sure they have a CE that controls the entire group...or do they?

I got an immediate response from The Eagle PD. It is a network issue. They have made many complaints to the network about dropouts, and other issues.

I apologize for my many posts. I should have sent an e-mail before to address the issue.
