96.9 WBLQ-LP-FM changing frequencies

Chris Dipaolo did it again.The F.C.C. has granted him a new frequency.

96.7.

The F.C.C. is allowing him to abandon 96.9 and move to 96.7.

This only took about two weeks to get approved. The problem started when a station on Long Island moved from 96.7 to 96.9 killing Chris's coverage. After a few phone calls. They F.C.C. is allowing Chris to move.

The antenna will also move to the old channel 62 tower in Bradford. The old channel 36 site.

Westerly's late-Channel 62 (Re: 96.9 WBLQ-LP-FM changing frequencies)

WSBE-TV (Channel 36) in Providence used to operate a translator in Westerly on Channel 62 (W62AB). If you want more info about this little station please visit the UHF Morgue on the THE RadioDXer website (http://RadioDXer.net). Follow the prompts and in no time, you're there. There is a photo of the former W62AB site on the webpage as well.
