Margey Egan, needs something to stimulate her responses. She is so dull, so, lethargic, I wonder if she is sedated. I know she is not stupid, but, I really dislike her playing the dumb blonde part. I did enjoy some of her writings in the Heralds, but, they also have gone down hill .

What is with her?? Also, now the other one Jim, does he not think anything is serious. Is this the way the show is supposed to be?? I cannot listen to them. One of them needs to be replaced by someone who can discuss topics without making jokes. Not all the topics are in the funny category.

Just a guess, but this sounds like the handy work of a radio consultant. It's one of those: "Ok, keep it light-hearted, and have the girl giggle at everything." This is one one of those short-sighted, bean counter "this is what the audience wants" type of decisions, but I see it in market after market. Usually it's the staple of a morning show of some CHR in some small market, not usually the caliber of a first rate talk show.

Put it another way, it's the "Mike and Matty" concept in talk radio, and apearantly, it's alive and well.
