Have anyone ever checked out this station? "Today's R&B" is what they do and most of the music I've heard so far is new music I've never heard before. Been listening for almost an hour and the only throwback I've heard so far is Zapp/Roger "Heard It Through The Grapevine". Best of all, they have live personalities!! IMO, they sound better than a major market station. Check them out on Tune in.
 
Shawty, I was really surprised to hear a small market station sound like this. I was very impressed!
 
I'm not too far from Jackson, Tennessee, I have heard KIX 96 from time to time and they are good. WYJJ, Jammin Jackson is their competitor on 97.7. I kinda lean toward them more because of the old school tunes, but some songs they wear out.

I grew up in Louisiana but moved to Ohio back in 1992 and I've made trips back and forth several times passing through that area (its been a few years since I've driven home but) Kix 96 in Jackson, TN. has always been a great Urban station. I looked forward to listening to them once K-97 from Memphis or 101.1 tha Beat from Nashville would drop out.
So are they Urban AC now cuz I know at least from 1991-2007 they were Mainstream Urban?

They are basically a young urban ac.
 
They streamed several years ago and sounded good back then. Looking forward to checking them out again :)
