Did WHYL receive an OK to boost power directionally at night (toward Harrisburg),
or did someone forget to power down the transmitter last sunset? I was surprised
to pull in a strong Jim Bohannon last night and CNN Radio this morning in Colonial Park.

I'd be surprised too, if Jim Bohannon had a strong show. Even if WHYL got a power boost, it would just mean that we could hear their frequent dead air periods with greater clarity.

Apathy is bliss.</P>

**Sometimes when I was there last year, that 22 watts did surprisingly well, but it's not unusual for their Harris Sundowner to lose its memory and not take it down. And there's been a lot of lightning lately. Wouldn't be surprised.
Gee, with their obviously superb engineering, how could this happen? ;^)
