960AM in Salisbury

Since dropping ESPN, Clear Channel has been running Comedy bits from comedians on 960. I know they do this on a CC AM in Boston. But dropping ESPN for comedy? Horrible. I understand they are still running Fox sports on 1470AM in Salisbury. How can comedy bits as a while format survive?
 
I have often wondered why they don't use Clear Channels "Foggy Mountain" format on this station. Some Classic Country would be a nice compliment to sister "Froggy 99.9". I know the signal isn't that strong, but I'd imagine they'd get some listeners from the local area.
 
On AM? They want Froggy to stay the powerhouse that it is and NOTHING to come in the way of that. They should of left ESPN on 960. If not, make it a news/talk or something. The only music format I'd put on there is gospel which would work.
 
Wasn't 960 urban gospel in the past, I'm thinking late 90's? I also remember 1470 being Radio Disney. I believe when 960 became sports talk gospel got bumped to 1470. At some point (early/mid 2000's?) urban gospel was dropped from 1470 where it became the "format-of-the-moment" club of standards->newstalk->fox sports (maybe not in that order).

Salisbury has a urban gospel station at FM-91.3 WDIH so even bringing gospel back won't help that AM.
