your right..i remember now..18 minutes...but i don't think that included sold newscasts or sports updates..we had every thing sold every hour that could hold a spot, news, spots in the programming, bottom of the hour sports update, weather... the often lamented and much missed.."swap 'n shop"...a sixty second moment of meditation...i can recall hours where no more than 8-10 songs were played...
 
We also have deregulation to thank for those wonderful "colon blow" programs from "Great American Products." ::)
 
That's because the Vandy coach's Show was having technical issues and they were just filling with music until they got it taken care of.

Evidently, the coach's show didn't air at all, because I saw music filling the entire 6:00, 7:00, and 8:00 hours.

I remember hearing a promo for the coach's show shortly before 6:00 but I never thought any more about it when I didn't actually hear the coach's show.
