97.1 The River adds live evening DJ

Last night, I heard a DJ on the River at 8:45 PM, AJ Cannon (formerly of 106.7?). He gave the time and current temperature, and it was precise on, so he was live.

This is what happens when radio gets out of publicly-traded hands...you get quality.

SIDE NOTE: This afternoon, Jordan Graye was live on B98.5 filling in Kelly McCoy. Kate McCarthy was doing her usual VT on the River at the same time. I guess they can work in the same building together. Seriously...I guess they are short handed with the 4th coming up...which contradicts why I heard a live DJ last night on the River.

I thought they were going to replace any Kaedy shifts with other femle voices for consistency. My understanding is they were thinking about testing McCarthy and Graye in the Morning as a sub show for both Kaedy and Steve and Vikki. I guess the two couldn;t agree on who got top billing.
