97.1 - WTF!

So I am in Columbus the other day. I have 97.1 on for probably 30 minutes. Mark Dantzer was the jock at the time.

Everytime he went to talk, the song that was ending would cut off as the next started (not fade, even quickly...it CUT OFF)...

Is this sloppy automation (what do they use?) or bad board work...or a combination of the two? I could hear better segues in Podunkville, Iowa.

Eh, nothing new. It's just another station that continues to make Columbus look bad, that's all.
______________

This is called an Enco Dad Pro 32 running in "Autoplay" mode. Segues are disabled and ignored in this mode. In this instance, a reboot was probably the cure.

I thought BNS-FM was or is on Maestro ? I thought that's what I remeber them going to for Automation after they went hot ac, not many people probally realize but prior to the HOT AC format, they where like the last station to go to a MOHD (Music on Hard Drive) set up, they to the best of my knowledge played the Oldies from CDs when they where B97.
______________
