97.3 is going CHR

Is the Peach 97.7 FM, still doing the Oldies (Excuse Me Classic Hits) thing?

Was wondering if a flip was going to occur with them?

97.3 FM is now going by new calls. Here they are: WPYA. (My sources for this info are the other site and Wikipedia)

P.S. Thanks Mr. Zach for the info, on WHPH. Glad their current format is staying put.

94.5 has done hot AC, as both WMXQ and WYSF.

As of this morning, 97.3 is still IDing as WEZZ-FM...actually, IDing as "WEZZ and WEZZ HD1" (without the "-FM"). FCC database also shows the call sign as WEZZ-FM. Well...W271BN and WENN are IDing as "WEZZ and WEZZ HD1" also...

Shocker that Wikipedia would be wrong. I believe it was reported on the other site that the calls would change to WPYA, so that's probably where that information came from. I do expect them to update the calls at some point.

Call sign change to WPYA is probably in process. Just not showing on the FCC site yet.

Confession is good for the soul, It was I, your humble Wikipedian, board lurker and occasional commenter, that made that edit.

u da man, Charles! ;)

ID on 1320/102.1 has been corrected, as of today. Maybe the folks at SummitMedia are a-watchin' this thread... ;)

Boy am I relieved! I thought I would have been put on double secret probation by Wikipedia for putting false information in an article! :)

(Wait---if they did that to me, they'd have to do it to about 2/3 of the other contributors!)
