Hot 97.3 is On The Air
They FINALLY stopped looping the audio of women saying "That's Hot" 20,000 freaking times in a row. Pat St. John (the same guy that did KISS 104.3) is their voiceover guy and they launched at 6:01am today (Friday). They played their legal ID and launched into a Hispanic Urban song.
To answer the next question, no I was not running tape.

I thought the Paris and Nicole loop was funny, but I liked it better when they were playing the Electric Slide every ten minutes. haha.
One thing... the imaging on Hot 97-3 is way better than that of The Beat. The morning guy sounds a little nervous/green though.
#1 for Hip-hop, R&B, y mas (I hope the "y mas" turns out to be spanish techno)

I thought the Paris and Nicole loop was funny, but I liked it better when they were playing the Electric Slide every ten minutes. haha.
One thing... the imaging on Hot 97-3 is way better than that of The Beat. The morning guy sounds a little nervous/green though.

In fact, even better... it went straight into the computer, and is on mp3!
The only trouble is, I had to do it mono and theres' a small amount of static on it, but still good. Got the transition, and the next 40 mins after..

I was surprised to see Ramar doing Rhythmic Top-40 on 93.7, correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they do the same format on 104.3 a long time ago and they screwed that and ended up going AC? Let's hope they don't do it again
