Now, even though I do not care too much about this format I must admit, 97.3 sounds hot! (no pun intended)

Yeah, the station is sounding really good. I can't wait to see the next book.

they do sound really good but heres an interesting question. theres a hot 103.9 in plainview and now we have a hot 97.3. It would be kind of silly to have two stations with the same name. Do you think hot 103.9 will change names?

Its tejano/spanish. Sounds a lot like Magic 93.7

Thre's a Hot 103.9 in Plainview? Really? Does it have the same type of format?
Also, does it come out of Plainview, or is it a rimshot from Amarillo?

If that's true, I imagine there might a legality issue there...

im pretty sure its true unless if I misunderstood the station name or something. As for the signal, it barely covers lubbock. It never comes in that good in my car depending on where I am driving but being up here all the way on the 9th floor of my dorm hall, I can easily pick up Hot 103.9 on my regular home stereo. The format is different from 97.3. Its tejano/spanish just like Magic 93.7. If your in a good spot, you should be able to get it in your car here in Lubbock...especially the northern part of Lubbock county towards Abernathy. 103.9 KRIA comes straight out of Plainview. Heres a link and you can see the coverage area.

pretty interesting that we now have two stations with the same name but different formats. I wonder what will happen.
