97.3 W247AT in Harvest/Madison

I ran into this translator yesterday and heard country/classic country music on 97.3 in Madison while coming into Huntsville on I565. What is the parent station for this translator? It is listed as religious 89.9 WAKD in Sheffield but that is obviously wrong. It couldn't have been WUUQ in Chattanooga (South Pittsburg) because it was way too clear and the presentation was awful. They would play a song and let it fade all the way out, then have a few seconds of dead air before starting the next song. No drops or station ID's that I heard. Anyone have any info?

It is a translator for 97.9 WQXD LP in Athens. It carries a format called "God's Country," along with a translator on 101.7 in Somerville.

AFAIK, the 97.9 Huntsville x-lator is not on air. They once had a xlator on 96.5 in Fish Pond (Trinity), but I haven't heard any signs of it in a few years. There also is one on 90.1 in Moulton, but It has been a mixture of dead-air and WMXV 101.5 for several months now.

Looks like I got the frequency wrong for the Huntsville translator, it's 97.7 not 97.9. The Moulton translator has WMXV listed as its parent station on my site anyway, so I guess that's what's supposed to be there? The translator scene in the Tennessee Valley is so confusing.

Ah, I see. Thanks Travis.

I guess that's no longer on the air then since The Zone signed on.
