97.5 94.1

My Sister Lives in Peters Twp Washington County and Both 97.5 and 94.1 Are Strong Signals, We Get 97.5 here in North Hills but not 94.1. Anyone Know When is 94.1 Moving to Hazelwood and Raising Power?

94.1 coverage is spotty at best here in the South Hills. Will have it for a
minute, turn the corner and it will be gone. It becomes much better at the
intersection of Brownsville Rd. and Route 51, and on down towards Century III Mall.
I can only pick-up 97.5 reliably out in the vicinity of South Park.

I notice that in the station ID's and weather breaks now the FM frequency and calls
are taking precedence over the AM. Any particular reason?

In most of the USA 70% or more of the "money" demos (less than 55) listen to FM only. If you have a FM signal simulcasting the AM chances are the folks are listening to FM it they can pick it up.

that data must be striking if a ten watt FM signal with long silly call letters takes precedence.

I might have been a tad kinder and said that one is where "The Deer Hunter" was set and the other is where the deer hunter is more likely to be found on the first Monday after Thanksgiving. Good point otherwise.

I know a guy who worked on The Deer Hunter.

He says the Director drove to a hill overlooking Clairton, took one look at it and said,
quote, "That's not how Clairton is supposed to look!"

So he bugged out and they shot the Clairton scenes in Mingo Junction, Ohio.

True story!
