97.5 signal

I noticed since the switch one year ago, the Hawk does not have the coverage it once had at 94.5. Living in the city of Philadelphia, 97.5 does not have the strength and clarity that 94.5 has. It fades, especially going south and southeast of the city. There is also interference from the pirate on 97.7. If and when they move to the Chestnut Hill area, would this increase the signal to city grade in the metro??

*Note: I did contact the Hawk a few times concerning the pirate on 97.7, but I received no response. Maybe they are waiting for the Xmtr move before they take any action.

That is MORE THAN LIKELY the reason for the swap between them and "sister" WPST back on 2/15/05. They wanted a better presence in Philly for WPST which is understandable since Philly already has 'MGK and 'MMR in terms of Rock stations (even though opinions may vary...). Where I live I am actually thankful for the swap since I happen to enjoy "The Hawk"
