AFA has finally begun broadcasting their AFR christian talk/preaching programming on 97.7 this morning. Revocation Radio has not been broadcasting on the frequency since early January. The call sign remains WRYD, at least according to the TOH legal ID as of an hour ago. There was no mention of WKUA Moundville, Revocation Radio's sister station in Tuscaloosa, which was also included in the sale to AFA.
Revocation Radio changed its signage/logo on their Facebook page this morning, presumably bc WRYD is now airing AFR.
Wondering what happens, if anything, to the AFR programming that has been airing on Birmingham's WLJR 88.5 for many years now. As of this morning, WLJR was still airing AFR. Will WLJR continue to air AFR programming or be changed to other christian programming? If the AFR programming continues on 88.5, however, it would be able to fill in those areas of Jefferson county where WRYD's signal does not reach well, if at all (areas north of Hoover).
