I kind of figured second-adjacents would have a tough time proving measurable impact from this second-rate signal. Looks like it'll be stronger into Meriden than the current 97.9 is; now all we have to do is find out whether the programming is going to be worth listening to.
As one of the few, the proud, the HD Radio owners, I'm wondering whether the Americana format now on WPKX's HD-2 (below the threshold for indoor reception here with the current transmitter location) will stay on 97.9 or be swapped with whatever WRNX has been running on its HD-2. Anyone know?
