970 KFBX NOW STREAMING ONLINE

Ten months ago, I had posted on the Alaska board about Clear Channel's KENI 650 in Anchorage had started streaming live online, and had mentioned about the anticipation of Clear Channel's other news/talk station in AK, KFBX 970 in Fairbanks being the next station to stream online.

I'm guessing within the past week or so, the stream finally went live. Here is the link.

Thanks for the info. Fairbanks is one of my favorite cities to hear radio stations from, and I'll definitely be adding this link to my audio streams folder and checking them out REAL SOON, like just as soon as I finish writing this post. Thanks again man.

Damn! This station at 970 AM in Fairbganks is one of an increasing number of iHeart radio stations that I am denied access to up here in Canada. When I click on the audio stream, I receive this error message.

Stream Playback Error
The iHeartRadio service is only available in the U.S.

This means that I can't listen to this radio station in Fairbanks, I can no longer hear one of my favorite radio stations, WTVN from my hometown for fifteen years in Columbus Ohio, WHOM from Mount Washington New Hampshire and many others. I wish they would reverse their decision and allow folks here in Canada to hear their audio streams. After all, I am an American living up here in Canada because I married a Canadian woman. This is really depressing me.
