970 WOZN HISTORY

Hey Guys:

First I would like to say thanks to everyone on this board for all of your help with my research. I hope to get a good complete Jacksonville radio history page on the internet soon!!

I do need help with some more fill in the blanks:

Would anybody know the format of WOZN 970 from 1969 to 1974? The broadcasting yearbooks give no format listings until 1975 when it was bought by the Timm Family and became Southern Gospel.

Again thanks for your help on this one guys!!

T.J. its good to see you are going through doing some research..I had done a lot of research in the past on this stuff and still have a lot of stuff from 4 years ago when I was trying to get something going on the internet. Being in college just kinda crashed the whole thing and now with some free time I am going to pull out of the stuff I have and see what you need. I have info that has been long since deleted from the Radio-Info boards when the boards still looked pretty rough and crude IMHO. If you are interested in collaborating with me that would be great because I am a radio history junkie myself.

Take care and best of luck!

JAWilson:

Thank you for the reply and the nice comment. Working hard on Jacksonville. Still have some major blanks. I have gotten a lot of help from the members of this board!! I would love to collaborate with you. If you want some info just ask. I will tell you what I have so far!! Take a look at the Jacksonville radio History post I have on this (N. Florida) board if you would like to add some answers to the questions that I have asked that would be great.

I do have one major blank: Would you know the format of WZOK 1320 from 1957 to 1968?

Thanks!! You take care too!!

T.J.
