Big Loss for them---he was savvy and a hell of a nice guy

I thought I saw him on Public Square in front of the Ramada broadcasting "Inkin' the Valley".

I heard Sausauge is leaving the X....any truth there?

Sausage (Chris Lloyd) did his last broadcast on the X yesterday. He will join WBAB (102.3 in Babylon, Long Island) this Monday as that station's new PD.

Sausage is as friendly and down-to-earth behind the scenes as he was on the air. He will definitely be an asset to WBAB and he will be missed here in NEPA.

Best of luck with his new gig in Market #18!

Perhaps they want people to "mentor" her and bring her along in the tough world of radio. Do you have a link?

Speaking of X, I checked out their web site. Why are they positioning Zoey as a skank?

Why do radio people(and I did it, too) think they need to present themselves in an odd and bizarre fashion? Just read any jock's bio and you're likely to get some "whacky madcap" BS about who they are, what they like, blah, blah, blah. 98% of the time, it ain't funny, it ain't amusing, it doesn't endear you to listeners, or potential listeners. Feeling kind of preachy tonight, so after 30+ years in broadcasting, here's a bit of advice; BE YOURSELF - it works. Okay, go ahead, flame my buttocks, come one, let's have it...

Maybe she's really the way she's portrayed on the web site.

Otherwise, I've seen the activity of which you speak. It looks like people trying to stand out in a crowd.

right there. Scroll down to the bottom as well and check out the wall paper

Gee, thanks. I think. (That was satire).
I looked at the photos and here's my take. At my age now, I know that there are certain clothes one should wear and not wear. No matter how bombastic a personality you have, how much the particular outfit is "you", there are certain things that, on certain people, just don't look right. That's me talking at this age. 52. Now I notice that the young lady in question is 26. When I was 26 I wore things a man of my size, (then and now) had no business wearing. (Powder blue ruffled tuxes, lime green leisure suits, etc with photos to prove it. ) I don't think she looks skanky, I think the outfits don't fit the package. That said, if she is comfortable with that look, more power to her. My wife tries to inflict this show on me, "What Not To Wear". Watches it every week. Zoey might be a candidate for that if she were a legal assistant but she's a jock at a hard rock radio station. It's what I would expect her to wear. But 25 years from now when I'm in the St. Mary's Masoleum on Middle Road in Wilkes Barre, she may feel the same way about her look at 26 the way that I felt about mine when I was 26. In the meantime, if she's good with it, so should we be too.

While Zoey is good at playing the role of [vamp, tramp or scamp] she is one of the nicest, sweetest people on this planet. She's 26, she's having fun & she's cool with it. Next Subject.

When I was in PA, Zoey was (and still is) my fave jock at 979X She has an amazing voice, and one that I miss, and give her some credit, she does have a GREAT PAIR OF LEGS.

she does have a GREAT PAIR OF LEGS.

Legs, yes legs. Almost as good as Genna Davis footrubs!

Best of luck to Sausage at WBAB, a historic radio landmark to me and my fellow Opie & Anthony fans.

With Sausage departing, the last of the old Bear staff has left the building, and a little part of me has died :'( Guess I have to drive to Stroudsburg and listen to Gary on WSBG in order to relive the good old days, back when I used to have fun not making any money in radio ;D

ARE YOU LISTENING TO THE SAME ZOEY AS THE REST OF US?
