98.1 WOGL Top 1000 Countdown, anyone tuning in?

I think I prefer their A-Z countdown, as this particular one seems to just shuffle the regular rotation around. I did hear "At The Hop", which was a plus.

If they played "At The Hop" then according to their thinking, there are far less than 1000 "greatest hits of the 60's 70's and 80's" to play the rest of the time. Even if their playlist is 800 (which I doubt it is) they are avoiding a lot of great songs from those 3 decades. So sad on their part.

Just to kill time, I've been tracking Bob Pantano's show, and his playlist from just the last 6 months is around 800 songs, so WOGL must have a really small catalog to only play 1000 songs. What they should do is literally play EVERY song from their playlist [ I don't think the A-Z countdown does that, but I don't listen as I believe they played Christmas songs as part of the list the last time ].

Yes they play Christmas songs in their a to z marathons, which frankly I think they could skip and not be called out on it. Something about hearing i'm dreaming of a white Christmas during a memorial day cook out just doesn't feel right.
