Its interesting. I have yet to hear any of the special programming (just automated music) but I'll have to listen again next time I'm in Round Lake. I'm only in the area 1-2 times a week which doesn't give me much chance to check it out. I usually listen to WZOK or WWYW when I'm there..<P ID="signature">______________

Jeremy, you had asked in an earlier post whether WRLR will ever broadcast in stereo.

The answer is: yes, but not yet. We're within sniffing distance of finally being at our full broadcast capability and range, which was our top priority. Stereo will be coming, hopefully later this year.

The metal show - "Metal Mayhem" - is a lot of fun. Chris and Carolyn do a lot of planning on that to make sure it's a good show. (They follow my show on Tuesday nights, and we've had some great conversations about music.)

We've gotten a great group of people in to create what I think is one of the most unique (and hopefully, to you the listener, the most entertaining) stations out there. Even if you're not in our signal area, I hope you'll take the time to check us out on streaming audio at www.wrlr.fm.

Well Chris F'n Thelen ... I knew you'd surface in Chicago-area radio eventually.

Drop me a note sometime ... one of your old singalong buddies from Notre Dame.

Well, so much for the witness protection program! <g>

Check your e-mail, Mark. Great to hear from you after all these years!
