Apparent policy --at least on a temp'basis-- is no Kraft calls. Big Jim has news updates but that's it. I also heard them bleep a recorded clip.
F&M have mentioned the warrant but have moved to other subjects.
Sounds more like the flagship not wanting to upset the home team.
Hard to deny something with supposed video evidence.
I would say anytime you are caught on camera of a sting operation at a sex shop it's not going to be positive.Video can be deceiving. Ask that kid from the Catholic school wrongly accused of taunting a Native American man on the basis of video shot from an angle that didn't show the entire scene.
And yes, I'm sure station management winced when this story broke, but as there is no victim in this incident -- it was for all intents and purposes a sting and no sex actually took place -- I still don't think it makes for good talk-radio conversation. Again, is the competition going whole hog on this?
And the victims seem to be the women being used as sex objects.
I would not say Kraft is a victim, he should know better. The reports are that this was a sex trafficking ring. I would say there are plenty of victims.Have we come this far from the attitude that prostitution is a victim less crime?
Not a bad move. He's been charged, he denies the charge, now the legal process begins. What's there to talk about: speculation whether any of the Pats' coaches or players may have patronized a prostitute and gotten away with it? Well, I'm pretty sure some have, but any discussion would have no basis in fact or significant value.
Are they talking about it on WEEI?
