98.5 the sports hub jingle

is it just me or are the jingles and liners way louder than the hosts mics?

hopefully they fix it, it gets kind of annoying after a while. Other than that, sounding good!

Do you mean "sweepers?"
Jingles are sung, sweepers are spoken over a music bed.
It's unusual (though not unheard of) for a talk or sport talk station to have jingles.

WFAN in NY has jingles, and WEEI when it started out had jingles.. KYW has a jingle.. I agree, the jingle for the Sports Hub is.. well.. obnoxious..

There is A "98-5 The Sports Hub" jingle, just one. At least that's all I've heard so far, but it gets played quite a bit.

yeah i meant that too, jeez whats the big deal?

trust me i know what a sweeper is, small mis typing

Sports Radio 66 (the Fan!) --WFAN...Neeew Yorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrk

For fun Mike Adams had some jingles done for his show

"Planet Mikey showwwwwwww....rocks!"

That jingle sing is quite possibly the worst piece of audio I have ever heard. Great station, but for the love of God, delete that from AudioVault NOW. It's terrible.
