98.5 The Sports Hub Promotes Rick Radzik To Program Director

https://radioinsight.com/headlines/...hub-promotes-rick-radzik-to-program-director/

Beasley Media Sports “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM Boston did not have to look far to find its next Program Director.

Rick Radzik, who has served as Assistant Program Director at WBZ-FM since its 2009 launch, has been promoted to Program Director to fill the opening created by Mike Thomas’ move to the Market Manager position at Good Karma Brands Sports “ESPN 1000” WMVP Chicago. Thomas will continue to consult WBZ-FM.

Changes coming to WBZ-FM.

I bet he didn't get any more money and they don't fill the APD spot... Beasley has been cutting staff, including a highly regarded formerly from Boston mid day personality just got blown out of their gig in Florida

Yeah, it was Paula Street from Oldies 103.3. Sad.

I wonder if June Knight survived at Beasley's country station in that same area.

June got blown out, along with the rest of the country station a while ago ( and they just beached the replacement morning guy, like they beached the morning sidekick on WBOQ a while back... she ended up in Maine of all places)

June is co-hosting mornings in Miami now.

I really hope Paula ends up somewhere soon... she is a talented individual, she has stayed positive in all her postings, and she would be a great addition to any station. The only down side is she bought a house in the Tampa area not too long ago and it never ends up well if you sell a house within 5 years.. the money doesn't work out ion your favor.... this is assuming she has to relocate.
