98.7 Billboards

Every time I see one of those 98.7 Billboards that say "The corporate suits censored this billboard, but they can't stop the music" I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

First, in this media savvy age, is there anybody, but anybody, who actually would believe that.

Second, that is one of the dumbest ways to phrase an advertising slogan ever.

Anybody remember 'Pirate Radio'?

It might as well say "The corporate suits came up with this billboard and they think you are stupid enough to believe it"
