98.7 The Shark Memories

This photo was taken outside Ferg's Live in January 2019, shortly after they started their classic rock format.

This was the longest format on 98.7 if you set aside the easy listening period when the station went on the air early on. What are your memories of 98.7 The Shark? Are you surprised it took Beasley, CBS and its previous owners to find a format with longevity on this frequency, then they sell the station to K-LOVE?

It won’t let me edit the original post; I am aware that WiLD lasted longer on 98.7 than The Shark.

The Shark has been on longer than what you keep calling the “easy listening” period. As I mentioned to you in the other post, WISP 98.7 (which was AC, not easy listening) lasted 6 years. The Shark has been on slightly longer.
