98.7 WSLN Delware

I wish they'd move the dial position to 98.5, it interferes with 98.9 when I'm in Delaware. It seems like three spots away from 97.9 would be enough to get the dial position change approved by the FCC since they're 23 miles away, it wouldn't cost them money I don't think, and the two 98.3's are 35 miles away from Delaware. One's 1750 watts, and the other's only 890 watts, so there'd be less interference for WSLN. Seems like a win-win. WSLN wouldn't have any interference from 98.9, and 98.9 wouldn't have any from WSLN. It's really not a big deal, just kind of always bugged me that they picked 98.7 instead of 98.5.

Interesting.  How far south do you have to travel before the interference on 98.9 goes away?  It's bad news for you if Jack has signal issues in Delaware, but it's obviously not good for them, either.  Given the demographics for each format this would be a much bigger handicap now than when they were Urban AC.

Also, there is WYKL on 98.7 up in Crestline. 98.5 would make a lot more sense to me for them to be on. As an LP station there shouldn't be any issues with WNCI if they move to 98.5.
