98.9 broadcasting dead air

And has been for about 24 hours now. I guess ESPN finally pulled the plug? Is there no staff to throw some music in or at least air a repeating statement as to what's gonna happen? Guess this is the result of a company that repeatedly makes headlines for mistreating their employees.

Seems like a waste of a strong frequency.

Actually that's non-traditional revenue at work: dead air brought to you by Greenwood Memorial Park & Mortuary.

I can only imagine the TOH ID...

"XHMORE-FM Tijuana/San Diego. You were listening to another failed format in our book. In the meantime, enjoy the sound of dead air, brought to you by Jack in the Box."

Hey, its better than no ID... ::)

Ha! I remember when I was running the board for the ULM (U of Louisiana-Monroe) baseball game, our console failed, so I threw on this Amerie EP, and the only song on the CD was her hit "One Thing". Sad thing is that no one called the studio in anger...
