98.9 WORC-FM stong in Wolcott

Is this normal or is it the atmospheric conditions? Tonite I was able to listen to 98.9 WORC-FM all the way down Route 69 from Illusions in Wolcott all the way to the BP station at the corner of South and Union Streets in Bristol. It was pretty clear. Choppy a little bit in places. Started fading a little bit at the bottom of 69. Cleared up again when I turned onto South Street before finally losing it by the BP Station.

Tropospheric conditions have been great for DX'ing for the past week or so. Wolcott is about 70 miles from the WORC-FM transmitter site on Blackmer Road in Dudley, MA, so that's definitely not a "normal" grab.

Last Wednesday night around 7 I was on 395 driving through Norwich and I was pulling in WHOM Mount Washington on 94.9, easily overpowering the translator on 94.9 in Montville. Last weekend in Manchester I was pulling in WWPR New York City where, if anything, I usually get WWLI Providence.

Another REALLY fun grab I got about 3 weeks ago just east of Willimantic was WXRK 92.3 New York City beating out WPRO-FM Providence.
