98 KUPD in San Antonio!

I was running an errand in my truck and heard a rock song on 97.9; thought that was odd as here in San Antonio, you will hear R & B from KBXX out of Houston most of the time. The song I believe was called "Ugly" by Sevendust and then the ID which sounded like 98 KUPD.. they then played "Touch Too Much" by AC/DC. That was at 4:00PM Central Time; I also pulled in KOOL 94.5 ("Mama Told Me Not To Come" right before 4:00 Central and KMXZ from Tucson.

That is the first time I've ever received Arizona FM's here in the San Antonio area; usually E-Skips center on The Carolinas or Florida.

The warm February weather created an unexpected bonus.

Man the weather has been nuts I picked up KTBC 7 FOX Austin and was receiving something over that probably that station out of Mexico. I had a class to go to Wednesday night and took my antenna down because of the storms coming thorough and had the UHF elemenmts facing the ground and was picking KTBC up and decided to erect my VU 75 XR antenna.
