I read where KRXQ has hired a new Promotion Director. I didn't know they were on the lookout for a new promo person. Good luck with the new gig!

How exactly does programming in a small market qualify someone to do any more than work the drive-thru at KFC? Nothing against Boyle as I know nothing about him or this gig, but the last time I was at a small-market rock station, the PD was dumber than a box of hair and not qualified for anything more than mop-duty at the Embers.
 
Best Promotions guy in America. Detail fanatic, great ideas, never settles for second best. Owes me money.
 
Take it or leave it, he's a good salesman.

Not so great of a PD, a mediocre jock, and not loved by many of his former staff.

Didn't he take the other rocker in Bakersfield to its demise?
 
John Boyle

John worked for me for about two years. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Sometimes the one's who get things done aren't popular with the sheeple.
