Wow! If it's all true, that's a great deal for Cowhead, 98Rock, and the listeners. Quality talent with local name recognition ready to take that station back in the right direction. I've gotta admit, despite what I think about some of CC Tampa's moves sometimes, they seem to be making some good decisions lately. Signing Skip and flipping 103.5 to country is eventually gonna hurt Infinity's bottom line with WQYK... and now basicly picking up an Infinity cast off to rebuild 98Rock around... Nice job and good luck. I think it's funny how one decision could have changed everything.... In my opinion, if Infinity would have let Cowhead and 92.5 go "Extreme Rock 92-5" shortly after Bubba was fired, we probably would be talking about US-97.9 today or even Spanish on that signal instead. 98Rock would have never survived the last 2 years if it wasn't for the idiots at Cox leaving the only competition on the weak 97.1 signal.

You missed my point. I have spoken to Puddin many times and he is a nice guy. I especially appreciate how he and Phatty kept the hate mongering minister,Fred Phelps, from using the funeral of a slain veteran to push his sick agenda. Further more, I think Puddin's satire of certain members of a local political board was right on. My sarcasm was aimed more at Salem for taking away Adult Standards music.
Yeah, I'm a radio wannabee, but with a voice somwhere between Fran Drescher and Phyllis Diller, not a chance. I've spent 34 years in social services in 3 states. Right now I work in substance abuse and HIV/AIDS prevention. Puddin is an good guy and I will miss him.

I agree Puddin is a good guy. We have talked a few times since the changes and he has been real cool. This is just a shitty business. For me ...it is the first time I have been on this end of a deal. I am usually the one getting f'd ! Puddin is going to WEBN to contine his successful night show in Cincy and Phatty (Spice, Matt... you haters pick one) will continue his run at XTB working with me.
I am so looking forward to this and I can't wait till you dickheads start posting how bad I am ....again !!

Its funny how WXTB can't find someone to replace Bubba The Love Sponge. They have wen't through The Monsters, Big Rig, Puddin and Phatty, and now Cowhead is back. Whatever the case I hope 98Rock figures their crap out soon. But then again Cowhead has been with WXTB before and is a local and has been on WBZZ and Outlaw 92.5 so I think he can seriously kick some ass on 98Rock.
I will though miss Puddin and Phatty. I wish the best of luck to the both of them. Phatty I know will stay with 98Rock but I think he worked better during the afternoon on 98Rock then the mornings. But thats my opinion though.
