Plus, it would appear they are using the old channel 6 TV antenna -- which I would guess is a batwing, meaning horizontal-only polarization. Which in turn means car (vertical whip) antennas might be at a further reception disadvantage.
Pretty neat idea to use the old TV antenna though, even if they're 10 Mhz off the top end of the channel 6 band. I've heard of at least one non-comm FM that was diplexed into a channel 6 antenna on a full-time basis, and the legend was that NOLA's Q93 (WQUE, formerly WDSU-FM) was run in the same manner off of WDSU 6's antenna.
