99.1 in Birmingham is now on the air as sports "99.1 The Game". Station ID is given as "WDJC HD3 Birmingham, W256CD Fultondale".

I thought this was being leased to Summit Media for WENN. This would explain why WYDE was taken off WDJC-HD3, though. They don't need it with their "fill in" translator that's being fed by WYDE AM.
If I'd been a betting man I'd have bet against more sports for Birmingham because sounds too outlandish. Now you know why I don't gamble. This is insane. JOX, JOX2, JOX3, now this.

Yeah, I thought I was hearing things when I heard WDJC mentioned in the station ID. It makes more sense now because I couldn't figure out why SummitMedia would want to try sports again after two failed attempts (on 97.3 and 107.3).
Programming on 99.1 is from NBC Sports Radio. If anything, that means that all major sports radio networks are now available in Birmingham.
