Trying to verify something. Found a Facebook page for "GenX 99.1 FM" in San Antonio, and I see there's an LPFM there. Is this what's airing on the frequency now?

It is what was airing on the station within the last 2 weeks. Spanish Hot AC I think.

LOL, so I saw KHJS's license renewal and they're using this place for their address...
Yeah right... A clinic? Somehow I doubt the clinic is affiliated with 99.1 FM.
They're also working with Dan J Alpert, known on these boards as being the legal counsel for questionable operations. Here is the renewal. Licensing and Management System

LPFMs are typically volunteer organizations. Many are working out of donated office space. Most LPFM volunteers have 'day jobs'. It is likely the mailing address for the LPFM is that Spa. They might even have a room in the back for the station, or maybe the president of the board owns the spa. It might even be possible board meetings are help there.
I know of stations in the back of a dentist office, a book store and a furniture store. And one of those is a commercial station!

Facebook is still going strong. GenX 99.1
Seems they're making something out of KHJS-LP. The only LPFM with a Facebook page in San Antonio that's updated regularly. KXTJ-LP also has a page but they don't update often.

KHJS has filed to transfer control, the board members are apparently resigning and replaced with new ones.
The new group has the same name as the old one, ESCUELA RADIAL JS. Last I heard KHJS was off, so not sure if it will keep the same format...
Their Facebook page link no longer works for me. Did they delete it? I may have been blocked but given that I can't access it when logged out of Facebook that makes me think they deleted it.
