99.3 Lite FM Adding Delilah

Now the Hudson Valley airwaves will be saturated with more Delilah! God help us!

So now we have 92.1 Lite FM, 99.3 Lite FM, 100.7 WHUD, and 102.3 WSUS comes into parts of the HV.

They were too cheap to just add a local night jock?

Ugh!

WHUD dropped Delilah. They have a local evening local show now...called Catherine Michaels Night Rythms.

Apparently the distributor of the Delilah program asked WHUD to drop the show as a NYC station was planning to pick it up. The NYC station had a last minute change of heart, but WHUD had already gone ahead with its plans to go live and local in the evenings...at least that's what I hear. Plus, Delilah plays about 20 or so songs...it's nice to have something different for a change.

I heard they were thinking of putting the queen of sappy love songs on 106.7 Lite FM. Big lost since WHUD has a much stronger signal than 92.1 and 99.3 combined.

Hope the new show does well.

What's next, 98.5, one of the three Lite-FM's? That's not going to happen. The last time Delilah was heard was on 98.5 formerly "The Cat" 5 years ago. 98.5 is not going to bring Delilah back. 92.1 and 99.3, the two Lite-FM's are still running Delilah every night, don't expect to see Delilah coming back to 98.5 anytime soon.
