Cody Alan is leaving The Wolf's morning show and is heading somewhere else......

It was only a matter of time. I can't believe they put him in morning drive anyway. I know he's been there forever, but I never could listen to him for any length of time. I'm sure they'll fill the position with some Cumulus jock from another market...or not at all.

Hmmm...if Cumulus were smart they would move or voicetrack their award winning morning show from KLUR 99.9 or KBCY's morning show in Abilene which has been legendary there...make it a regional morning show thing!

No offense to these other stations, but if Cumulus chooses to pipe in a small market morning show from Wichita Falls or Abilene then radio is farther in the crapper than I believed.

KLUR has more listeners proportionally than the WOLF right now..so does KBCY! The Abilene morning show would smash Dorsey...so would catching the KAJA morning show in San Antonio...Two guys in the morning!

I've heard all those morning shows and they would get slaughtered with the likes of Kidd Kraddict, Jody Dean, Dorsey, Bo and Jim Even the current Wolf morning show is better than anything Abilene, SA or Whichita Falls.

Cody is probably dong 200K (if that) a year alot less than Bobby Mitchell was making. The next morning person i bet will make less than 120 a year.

Maybe they are... Citadel is about to take over a failing Twister and KSCS and maybe both Cody and Amy B. will team up with Hawkeye and become what the wolf once was.

If something like that were to happen I hope Citadel would have more sense to do it with KSCS and not Twister. Twister's signal is crap.

Of course you would and CUME-LESS knows this, that's why they're sitting at a 2.7 because they've done it on the cheap. Wolf's ratings started to slowly tank as CUME-LESS systematically un-did the Wolf.

Fewer BIGGER than Life Contest/Promotions, Hiring a three time loser John Cook, then firing Bobby Mitchell, Hollywood Henderson, Jeremy, Amy B...They lost one of the hottest imagers who now is at the Wolf in SF.

Yep this is aother clear example why CUME-LESS is just a small market hillbilly company from Georgia.

Jeremy got fired long before Cumulus took over and frankly, deserved it--well if the rumor is true anyway. I think firing Bobby and Hollywood was a mistake, but I think The Wolf's decline actually began about the time that Mr. Leonard was let go...again for a good reason, but the morning show lost some of it's spark at that point. They are all an incredibly talented, but I liked Cody much better in afternoons and Amy B in the middays. It wasn't really broken, but they tried too hard to fix it.

Cody has signed on as a PD in a med market in Florida. Word is Amy B is possibly going to a Phoenix station soon.
