99.7 Djx versus kiss 98.9 which chr is better?

I persoanlly think djx is better put together.All of there talent you hear is local i believe 2 of kiss shifts mornings and afternoons are not broadcast from louisville!!!

I think pete and kelly are good together good chemistry and they have been around for several years!!!It seems kiss has not had consistency to speak of since they have been on the air for just over 5 years.How many morning shows?

Musically there is not alot of difference but since djx is less rhythmic i like them better but i know that is the trend at the current time.I do think djx sounded best when they had chris hamilton as pd.

But kiss seems to hold there own against the 26 year radio station but hot 104 when they were blown up seemed to help kiss out.

DJX is better b/c of there jocks. I have noticed KISS and other Clear Channel CHR's are throwing in a country song every now and then.
Morning show-Although I like Dave and Jimmy, Pete and Kelly are local!
Midday-I give it to Shane Collins, I think Ryan boring.
Afternoon drive-Mike Shannon hands down. Having a different city voice tracker during this time slot is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.
Nights-Ben Davis hands down. Does Carlos ever answer the phone? All he does is broadcast from clubs.
Weekends-I like the Fix Mix on KISS Saturday nights over DJX.

Shane Collins on Middays ok.. he's pretty boring too, at least Ryan does more than intro a song now and then...
Afternoons they are both a mess.. I can't stand Mike Shannon, I'm sure a great guy butI have no idea how he has lasted so long.
Nights.. Ben @ DJX For sure!
Overnights gotta go with KISS to.. the girl they have is pretty good.. Chuck at DJX is ok, just boring.. but it's overnights...
 
DJX has a morning radio God. Louisville is lucky to still have a few good radio personalities who are local. peter B is da King!
 
yes Peter has been ther a LONG time and still doing really well. Hell I was in Jr. high @ Hazelwood when he and Joe rolled in. That was a great morning show. Weren't they up @ WLS before coming down to Louisville.
Ironiclly, mike shannon got the night gig I was going for @ DJX after ROCK 102 blew up. He's been there 16years, and I've been here in Tampa 16. Strange how that all played out....He's gotta be doing something right ;D

Hey bigrigger ronnie i remember right after they blew up rock 102 and mix 102 had just started the pillow talk show. And you were hosting it before rebecca lake and you started a barry manilow song and right when mr manilow started singing you said i can't do this and took the song off the air.Very funny dude.For all intensive purposes wlrs does not exist anymore!!!
 
yeah I was pretty depressed and really just pissed off. ;D
Sometimes you just have to pressure release.......I know I have tape of that somewhere. Those were a really fun couple of years(rock 102 that is) A bunch of us still get together every few months and relieve the good 'ol days.
