Why did 99.7 in Rocky Mount switch to 99.3???

To answer your question, it was to allow 99.9 from Chase City, VA (I think) a move into Creedmoor, NC and as such the Raleigh/Durham market. The former Ahoskie 99.3 (WQDK) moved several miles eastward to allow the Zax 99.7 move down to 99.3. There was no doubt significant $$ exchanged for compensation to those stations.<P ID="signature">______________

The former Ahoskie 99.3 (WQDK) moved several miles eastward to allow the Zax 99.7 move down to 99.3.
