No. Why on earth would they honk everyone off by saying, "You decide -- Blitz or Rock," and then use neither? That would be suicidal insanity, even by Columbus standards..

It's all a ruse to make the listeners think they brought the Blitz back, even though Hal knew for a while The Rock wasn't working. These plans have been in the works way before the "town hall" meeting. Hell, Mr. Fish still refused to believe that you can play too much Metallica, even though it was something the majority of callers complained about.

Actually, every single music test on 18-44 year males says you can't have too much Metallica. It is the #1 group in the demo.

Really? Glad I left that age group. :)

Metallica is an overrated piece of garbage. But if that's what people want, I guess it's the radio station's job to give it to them.

Overrated? They have sold over 100 million albums. This is not a large club to be in. Now if you don't like them, that's fine. Everyone has a right to their opinion, tastes, etc. But, that does not make them overrated. I love their older stuff up through the Black album. Didn't care for anything after that until their latest album, Death Magnetic, which sounds more like their older stuff. I love it.

And you know, if everyone liked exactly the same thing, we would only need one radio station.

Selling that many records kind of validates my opinion, because I just don't think they're that good. Quoting record sales doesn't impress me at all, because to me, record sales and quality of music aren't related in the slightest. I just look at the charts, see "artists" like Nickelback, Ke$ha and Lady Gaga at the top, and that proves it.
